Attendance Information
What is the attendance expectation for Warren ES students?
It is the expectation that all Warren ES students attend every class every day. Per CCSD policy, students are expected to maintain a minimum overall attendance of 90%, including excused and/or prearranged absences.
Students missing more than 10% of school days are considered chronically absent.
What do I do if my student is too sick to attend school?
In the event of an unavoidable absence, you, as a parent/guardian, can submit an ABSENCE FORM via the Warren ES website within 3 school days of the absence. If your student saw a doctor, or other medical professional, be sure to attach a note from the doctor’s office so your student can be medically excused.

How can I help monitor my student’s daily attendance?
By logging into the INFINITE CAMPUS PARENT PORTAL, you can see your student’s attendance. Additionally, you are encouraged to download the Infinite Campus app on your smartphone. With the app, you can set notifications to alert you of absences and/or tardies throughout the day.
*Reminder to all Kindergarten and Fifth Grade Mustangs: The promotion ceremonies in May are a celebration of maintaining 90% or better attendance, which means you have achieved the seat time and academic growth necessary to move on to the next grade level! Students who have more than 18 absences will not attend the promotion ceremonies. Remember, Every Day Matters.
